Dr. Sebi’s Bromide Plus Smoothie Recipe

Okay, so I had a reader that requested a recipe to go with Dr. Sebi’s bromide plus powder. The powder is full of nutrients and it’s great for your overall health. The powder has a strong seaweed smell. I wouldn’t recommend eating the powder by itself because honestly it’s disgusting that way.

This is why I put mine in a smoothie! It almost takes away the strong seaweed smell and taste but you can still smell the seaweed a bit once you drink it. I also made homemade hemp milk to go in the smoothie. You can find the video on how to make this recipe with youtuber Modest Vegan Chik here.

Here is the recipe for a Dr. Sebi approved bromide plus smoothie.


Serves 1-2

  • 1/2 tsp Dr. Sebi’s Bromide Plus Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tbsp Agave
  • Hemp Seeds (to make into hemp milk)
  • Spring Water

Hemp MilkĀ 

You will need 2 cups of spring water and 2 tbsp of hemp seeds. Put each of these ingredients into a blender. Blend for about 3 minutes. Strain the hemp seeds. And there’s your hemp milk that goes in the smoothie!


Add the rest of the ingredients to the hemp milk in a bowl. Mix it up! Then add the mixture into a blender. Blend for about 3 minutes. Add the blended mixture into a saucepan at a gentle boil for a few minutes to warm it up. It’s recommended to drink it as a warm drink. Mix the drink well while it’s heating up with a spoon or a whisk. Pour into a cup and enjoy!


This bromide plus powder smoothie is said to induce frequent urination, more bowel movements, and suppress the appetite for hours.
